Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been as a performer, model and advocate for animal rights in America. Her films comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). New York was her home and she was raised in an environment that was artistic. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant, and later moved into modeling and acting. MacGraw was noticed in her first two movies and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Popular newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 movie Love Story was an international hit, earning the actress an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. She was named the best box office star in the world after only three films. At Grauman's Chinese Theater In 1972, she got her name and footprints hand-engraved. The actress has appeared in a variety of other movies, including The Getaway Convoy Players and television miniseries The Winds of War among others. Moving Pictures is her autobiography, published in 1991. MacGraw was married to three individuals.
