Ina-Garten

Ina Garten has been known as a well-known American writer of cook books for a number of years. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa and began its run in 2002. Ina began writing policies and nuclear energy papers in the White House. Although she initially found it intellectually stimulating she eventually stopped her interest. Then she bought an Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food shop. The store was very successful for 18 years before she decided to sell it. Then she began writing her first cookbook. A number of magazines and cookbooks came later. A different hit is her Food Network Television show. She also sells a range of products ranging from cooking supplies to storage and equipment. Ina has never been to any cookery school or worked in a restaurant and is completely self-taught. Ina is well-known for her unpretentious way of entertaining and easy food preparation. Her most well-known recipes include Skillet - Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and cheese Mac, Beef Bourguignon and cheese paired with Beatty's Chocolate Cake and Lemon Bars.
