Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actress, singer, and writer, best well-known by the name of Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Her stage work began in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions before making it famous in the national stage area with Li'l abner's in the year 1957. In the year 1957, she debuted her own album called It's time for Tina. Louise made her foray into Hollywood playing Griselda Walden from God's Small Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The movie received wide acclaim and Louise got an award called the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In the years prior to this, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. The actress joined CBS in 1964, to portray Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career successfully with a variety of roles between Broadway TV and Hollywood playing somber characters contrasted to her perception of an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. She has also established herself as a well-known and respected director of famous television shows like Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965 and her family moved to Toronto at the age of three in the following years, where she lived in the adolescent years and childhood. After being chosen in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has resided there ever since.
